3/31 - Spring Party

I look horrible in this pic but this is me and Haylee Grace! She goes to the preschool I work at and I babysat her for a while when she was younger. Her momma and I are pretty good friends! Today was our Spring Party at school...we enjoyed the spring weather and played outside all day!! Here Haylee ate to much candy and her tummy hurt so I stole her and took her to the big kid side...that made her feel much better!!!! Isn't she cute?

3/30 - Dinner @ the Lake

Today Gregg had to work...well he didn't have to but he wanted to cause he got paid double time to work today!! YAY! So after work we went up to his mom's so he could his Playstation 3 fix in on his brother's playstation - anyway after his mom's we went downtown and got something to eat from Arby's because Lyla was doing gymnastics in my belly telling me it was time to eat. Today was the hardest I had felt her kick since I started feeling her move...she kicked so hard that it shocked me and I started laughing so hard I was crying. OK so on with my story...we got something to eat and Gregg wanted to go to the lake to have dinner. It probably doesn't sound like much but I thought it was sweet (or it could be my hormones). We backed the truck up, ate our dinner and just looked at the water! It was nice and peaceful!! I forget how little things like that can make such a difference....you talk so much more to each other when it is just you two and nature instead of sitting in front of the TV (which is what we usually do)! I liked dinner at the lake...we might make it a tradition!!

3/29 - So Adorable

Isn't this adorable? I went to walmart earlier to get another phone charger that my loving puppy chewed up and of course I swung by the baby stuff. I was looking for bedding sets (because I am so confused on what to do the nursery in) and came across this little dress on the clearance rack! Could you get something more cute? It has little bloomers that go with it...and it's polka dot....so adorable!!!

3/27 - Girls @ work

Yeah .... this is us at work!! And we get paid for this! Today during naptime we heard an alarm...and of course because we are nosy...we looked outside to see what was going on. Well it was the fire alarm to the grocery store right down the hill from us. So being the go getters that they are Barbara and Lori trucked it down the hill and through the ditch to see what exciting news they could come back with! Along with everything Barbara wasn't feeling very good that day...let's just say the bathroom was her best friend. This is what us locals will do to get some exciting news!!! Guess what it was? Nothing! Everyone was just going about thier business like nothing was going on....maybe it wasn't that big of a deal to grown ups but to us in the preschool world....it was exciting!!!!!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

IT'S A GIRL.....IT'S A GIRL........IT'S A GIRL

So i am a little behind....
but Monday we had our big ultrasound to see what the baby was...can you guess what we found out? LOL!!
Yep it is a girl!!
She showed us exactly what she was as soon as we turned the monitor on...that was the first image we got!!
We wanted to try to guess and see if we could get it right but there was no mistaking...the ultrasound tech even showed us how to determine whether it was a boy or a girl...you know sometimes they tell you that is like an 80% chance it is a girl....so I asked just to make sure and she said 100% .....no doubt...it was a girl!!
First I have to say THANK YOU GOD!!!
You don't even know how much I prayed that the baby would just turn right so we could see what it was...so I am so glad that we were just able to find out.
So what was so funny was that when the ultrasound tech said it was a girl my mother in law screamed and jumped up and down (she really wanted a girl) - my mom screamed - the baby kicked - it startled the ultrasound tech - and Gregg was just kind of standing there speechless!!
It was a crazy moment!!!!! But one that I will never forget and will cherish for the rest of my life.
I was suprised that Gregg could actually see what was on the ultrasound monitor....he picked out her heartbeat and her hands! He told the tech to zoom in on her feet to see if her toes were like mine (my middle toe is longer than my big toe and Gregg makes fun of me all the time). Well when she did...she has my feet!!! Gregg says "Oh Crap!!"
When the monitor first came on Gregg said "Woah!"

so many memories happened that day!!

I can't wait to be a mommy and see Gregg become a daddy!
and see what Lyla Faye Brewer looks like!! (hopefully like me)

3/22 - I'm Done!

Me and Gregg took the dogs out for a walk today. It was so nice outside..you just couldn't stay in!! We went down to the city lake where Gregg knew a little walking trail. This was the first time Rosco had been out away from home. We got to the trail and Daisy took off like she had been to that spot all her life....I had Rosco on a leash. It wasn't a very long trail but we hadn't had the chance to get out in a while with the weather being as bad as it has been but boy when we were done Daisy hi-tailed back to the truck. On our way back to the truck we let Rosco off the leash to see how he would do and just followed Daisy all the way back to the truck. They beat us there (of course me...I was in last place). This is a picture of the dogs saying "I'm Done" and waiting on us to go back home!!!

3/21 - Sleeping Baby

This is Rosco sleeping. Yes! He is actually sleeping. I was on the computer just playing around looking at scrapbooking stuff waiting for my hubby to get home from work and Rosco didn't make it. He fell asleep and flipped over! I took like 3 or 4 pictures of him like this and he never moved...usually he notices everything because he is so nosy!! He is so cute!

3/20 - Quality Time

This is Gregg spending quality time with his family after work. He gets home at 11pm so the two dogs and I wait up for him and this is what we do until we can't hold our eyes open anymore! It isn't a vacation at the beach or a romantic resteraunt but knowing that we are waiting for him to come home means the world....that is what we call Quality Time!

3rd Dr. Appt

Dear Baby,

So I had dr appt 3 Monday and your daddy got to go with me!!
This was the first one for him to go to! It was just a check up but the dr brought in that thing and let your daddy listen to your heartbeat. He was excited...your heartbeat was loud. Dr Haraway said your heart rate was about 154...which means that the old wives tale about the baby’s heartrate being over 140 means you might be a girl!
We made the appt for the Big ultrasound to see what you are going to be...it is March 24 so we will see if that old wives tale is true! Now you just have to turn the right way so we can see. That way daddy and  I can get your room ready! 
I thought I wanted a girl ...I think because I lost your sister Natalie....but the further along I get I don’t think I will prefer one over the other as long as you get here and healthy!
I have almost past the point of when I lost Natalie which might not mean anything but it means alot to me for some reason. Here lately I have been so nervous over everything...knowing that this is close to when my water broke with Natalie and i don't wanna lose you.
I already love you so much! We have discussed a few names.....so far we have Levi Greggorey if your a boy and Lyla Faye if your a girl.
Well it is time for me to head to chuch so i had better get going!!!! Please don't kick my bladder while we are praying and make me run to the bathroom!
